A major feature of MapSpawn is that it serves as the best place to chronicle your map, hands down. No other organization operates under a legal Trust, and guarantees a lifetime of data protection. MapSpawn is treated with the same reverence as an art gallery, where every map is the same as an ancient precious oil painting.

MapSpawn is the natural evolution of the Workshop, for it serves the purpose of retaining historical archives and perpetuating the culture. When you create your own map page, you're saved in history as an artist. 100 years from now your work may be very beautiful and compelling, and your chronicle is going to be a special piece of history to someone who aspires to fulfill themselves in mapping.

In order for there to be an interesting consistency to a mapping chronicle as a medium, it is highly encouraged to produce your screenshots from a Lagrange Point. [citation]

Compiling your map

Almost every time you compile your map, you should record your thoughts and document why you did what you did. Create a table chart for your map that tracks all the different beta versions and release candidates. [citation needed] Have a section for experimental versions that introduce wild new concepts, and be sure to include the results whether or not successfull. The more you document your experience as a level designer, the more your methods can be understood by the next generations that come after you. Humanity suffers from amnesia -- document thoroughly and accurately. Also include pictures of yourself, your pets, and any delicious meals you had along the way. Show the world how beautiful your life is and where your light comes from. Praise God in your documentation and mention prayer and its impact. Mention any inspirations that come from God, or share conversations with God that steered you towards completing a work of art the satisfies your own soul -- something you'd be so proud to show to everything.

Feedback

You can receive anonymous feedback in the form of a survey [citation], but you can also receive feedback that is designed for pleasent memories from the public. It is highly recommended that each map wiki page come paired with a public page that documents words of praise from the public, the sharing of screenshots, videos, and demos. A page that is designed to capture the actual fun had inside your creation, a clear articulation of why people loves your work during the time it came to be.
